Source Priority

For product capabilities, platform support, subscription behavior, requirements, and troubleshooting, we prioritize developer-controlled sources: the official website, store listing, Help Center, and official feature documentation. Reputable distribution records may supplement version and architecture information when the official store does not expose it publicly.

Competitor pages and search results are used to understand user expectations and coverage gaps. They are not treated as proof of a product claim.

How Claims Are Labelled

Claim typeRequired treatment
Officially documented featureState clearly and link the official source where useful
Version or file factTie it to a date, exact build, package, size, checksum, or source
Hands-on observationIdentify the device, version, and test performed
Practical recommendationExplain the reasoning and avoid presenting it as an official requirement
Unverified community claimQualify it clearly or omit it
Commercial statementDisclose the relationship near the relevant content

Comparison Methodology

  • Compare products against the same categories and definitions.
  • Distinguish a missing feature from a feature that was not verified.
  • Give greater weight to the user’s workflow than to a raw feature count.
  • Use official documentation for both products rather than relying on one product’s marketing page about the other.
  • Update conclusions when a major feature or platform change affects the decision.

Updates and Corrections

Version-sensitive pages are reviewed when a meaningful release, compatibility change, or persistent reader report is identified. A displayed “last reviewed” date means the page’s important claims and links were checked; it does not mean every sentence was rewritten.

Correction requests can be sent to hello@alightmotionapkfree.com. We evaluate the page, claim, evidence, and potential reader impact. Significant factual corrections should be reflected promptly.

Visual and Copyright Standards

The website uses original design assets, screenshots we are permitted to publish, or clearly identified product-store images where their use is justified. We do not copy a competitor’s page layout, written content, or branded screenshots.

Trademarks and product names remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification, commentary, and comparison.
